A writer/performer for the last several years, Jennifer is an original member of the Muffin Basket Cases, a group of seven women solo performers who wrote and performed a new show each week, a former cast member with Beastwomen Female Cabaret, co-creator of Numbskull, the Human Blockhead, and is an original member of the kates.  Current performances include:

Since 2007 Jennifer has been a recurring writer and performer with the multi-talented ladies of the kates. Hosted by the uproariously funny Kelsie Huff, the kates feature a rotating cast of female performers dishing out comedy, solo performance, clowning, and more. Joining forces with former Defiant Theatre member (and eventual husband) Fraser Coffeen, Jennifer co-created Numbskull the Human Blockhead in 2003. Since then the duo have shared their spine-tingling feats throughout the Midwest and at such Chicago staples as the Abbie Hoffman Died For Our Sins Festival, Neo-Futurarium, Theatre Building Chicago, and the Lakeshore Theatre among others.  Last year they were thrilled to join Les Claypool’s Oddity Faire at the Riviera Theatre.
